        每次只要店家自國外魚場進魚，就會吸引一堆玩家上門血拼，只要體型夠優及體色鮮豔，管他有沒有狀況照挑不誤，深怕一放回去就會被身旁虎視眈眈的同好挑走，反正先買回去再說，這樣的挑魚方式，是比較可以挑到自己想要的魚，且購買的價格也較低，但是要冒很大的風險，因為魚自國外經過長時間裝袋運輸進來，可能在裝袋前就有病，加上袋中魚的排泄及體表脫落的黏膜，會進入魚鰓，引起呼吸困難，嚴重時會破壞鰓部功能；若袋子漏氣造成魚隻缺氧，會造成魚體暫時性或永久性翻覆。

        因此，至少需經一至二週檢疫觀察過程，以確保魚隻健康，若在這段期間買魚，回去若沒有隔離檢疫或檢疫不當，則傷亡率相當高，這也就是早買便宜的原因，魚隻經店家檢疫後，未必就沒有好魚，畢竟每個人的欣賞角度都不盡相同，等魚況穩定後再買，會發現養金魚其實是很輕鬆的事。

Thus, the purchasing after the fish shop completed quarantine period (1 ~ 2 weeks) is recommended since the goldfish condition would be stable. This does not mean the fish fan is not able to choose the good goldfish, in fact, the personal view and enjoyable look is not same.
