要成功經營一家金魚專賣店,必須有下列幾項要件:

(4)準備各種魚缸:應有檢疫(治療)缸、販售缸、展示缸、庫存缸。
a.新進魚應置於檢疫(治療)缸至少檢疫一週,若沒問題再販售。
b.將金魚按種類及等級訂價分置販售缸,讓顧客能一目了然。
c.可將體型或體色特殊的金魚另置展示缸,擺在進門或顯眼的地方,以吸引顧客購買慾望。
d.搭配店內各式魚缸及週邊器材設備整組展示,加上店員(長)的解說或列表(書面)功能說明,讓想整組購買的顧客,能依據自己的偏好及價位選擇合適的魚缸及週邊器材設備組合。
e.最好準備庫存缸庫存一些魚另外放置,販售缸整缸賣完(出清)沒空補貨或年初繁殖期較無貨源時可隨時補充。(5)主動聯繫顧客:若有新魚到應主動聯繫顧客到店看魚,若買多可給予折扣優惠。
(6)掌握市場脈動:隨時掌握貨源動向,平時應與魚場或貿易商建立良好關係,一有進魚馬上通知,並勤補貨少量多樣,以顧客需求為導向,進所需各式魚種,減少庫存壓力。
(7)寄售認養服務:為解決顧客魚多為患,但又想買魚的問題,可以提供寄售缸或認養缸,不僅可促進金魚交流(詳金魚交流辦法),來客數也會增加。
(8)定期清理魚缸:魚缸應定期清理,魚缸缸壁應勤擦拭,避免長青苔影響觀賞;每天開店前應巡視魚缸,若有病(死)魚應即撈出另外處理,以免整缸感染。
(9)降低進魚成本:為使顧客買到物美價廉的魚,可與特定魚場或貿易商(國內或國外)合作,藉由長期合作可降低進魚成本,或親自出國進魚,選擇性較多,但需達一定數量,才有議價空間,直接進魚成本能否比透過魚場或貿易商進魚的成本要低,將是考慮的重點。
(10)到府健檢服務:因每個買家的飼育環境及設備不盡相同,為避免新舊魚隻相互感染,並使買家有充分的養魚資訊及改善養魚設備,店家可以提供買家到府健檢及線上諮詢服務,協助買家提升養金魚技術,此項服務可以比照電器維修酌收交通及服務費用,買家也可據此觀察店家是否有足夠的養魚功力,從中選擇信譽良好的店家。
(11)週轉金:不可為衝數量而將資金全部投入進魚,以免萬一魚有傷亡無法變現,將影響下一批魚的進魚質量及時間。
The following important factors are necessary for managing a fish shop.
1) Carefully choose an appropriate location: The location should have regular stream of people. Avoid to choose the same business shop is nearby.
2) Have enough knowledge to take care on goldfish: The basic goldfish knowledge is necessary, including the knowledge of breeding and preventing diseases. If the knowledge is not sufficient in the earlier stage, the advices from fish farms are necessary. 4) Preparing various fish tanks: There should be quarantine tank, exhibit tank, sales tank, and stock tank.
a. The new come goldfish should be in quarantine about one week. And, sell out if the goldfish has no problem.
b.Separate the goldfish by categories and prices with sales tanks. This way, the customer could clearly understand how to purchase the goldfish.
c.The exhibit tank should be arranged on the conspicuous place with special figure or color goldfish in order to attract the attention and desire of customers.
d.If the customer is willing to buy a complete goldfish tank, arranging the various kinds of goldfish tanks and necessary facilities with the detail explanation of shopkeeper would let the customer have easy understanding, and make decision upon his/her capability.
e.The stock tank is the best to supply for sales when the sales tanks are sold out or the goldfish are not able to be supplement during the breeding period in the beginning of the year.
5) Inform the customers with initiative contact when there are new come goldfish. Offering discount is also a must.
6) Mastering the market situation: Mastering the trend of sources in any time, building a good relationship with fish farms and fish trading ordinarily. This way, the instant contact form fish farms would make when the new goldfish are come in, and the fish farm could be able to provide various kinds of goldfish with fewer quantities, this may reduce the stock pressure after the sales period.
7) Consigning and recognition: In order to let the goldfish fans could buy more and more goldfish with changing different goldfish, the consigning and recognition at goldfish shop is a good solution. Or, going aboard for self-purchasing, this may have various choices, but a min. quantity would be limited to negotiate the prices. Whether the cost of direct import is lower than the purchasing cost from goldfish farms or fish trading is considerable.
